From Gram To Graham

pumpkinleadBlog

Favorite flavors of all-time:

Butterscotch

Marshmallow

Toffee

Vanilla bean

Pumpkin

Dark chocolate

Coconut

Graham

Sounds like a need a scoop of S’mores ice cream!

IMG_8341Blog

After seeing Mamapea put crushed graham crackers on her pumpkin pie smoothie, I had to repeat it. After breaking into a package of organic cinnamon grahams (New Morning brand I picked up as HLS swag) last night, I decided to crumble them into breakfast.

IMG_8336Blog

Pumpkin Graham Smoothie

  • 1/4 cup raw rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin
  • Pinch salt
  • 5 ice cubes
  • Pinch each of cinnamon, all spice, ground cloves

Toppings: Graham + Biscoff

IMG_8346BlogIMG_8340Blog

Coconut tea!

IMG_8348BlogIMG_8339Blog

I’ve already spent half the morning cleaning a baseboard area that was filled with crud. The Scour Off cherries took it right up, but like painting trim, once you start you can’t stop.

Must stop because I must focus today!

It’s been ages since I’ve had graham crackers. I have been unable to find a healthy brand, that meets my criteria (whole wheat, no refined sugar, etc)… I guess I just need to make some myself! It’s what I do. 😉

That smoothie looks delish. I’m enjoying a bowl of Coach’s Oats myself.

I love graham cracker flavor too! I’m from upstate NY originally, and if you ever find yourself up that way, you MUST find a Stewart’s ice cream shop and try their flavor, “Crumbs Along the Mohawk.” It’s a graham cracker and caramel ice cream that is my all-time favorite! My mom always has some in the freezer for me as a treat when I travel home now. 🙂
