Friends To The Third Power

It’s been a friends kind of Saturday! I went for a run this morning with superstar runner Elly, who keeps me on my toes – literally. We ran a fast 5, that wasn’t as fast as it felt, but still left me tingly and tired.

I turned around and showered and hiked down to the bakery for lunch with these two new friends, Kelly and Mary, both new Cville residents!

An end piece hummus + cheddar sandwich for me!

IMG_8926 (600x450)

So many veggies it’s like a salad between bread.

IMG_8928 (600x450)

We shared some tastes of sweets to end the meal. I never get tired of making new friends!

The proud parents of many loaves of bread this morning

Highlight of this Saturday – stuffing bread croutons! No need to leave bread on your counter for a few days – we did it for you.

Business is busy-ness today! Love it.

I’m not quite sure, actually, but it has celery and …onions! Needless to say it’s not my favorite bread, but if you love stuffing, you’d love it

That sandwich looks SO good. I had a great wrap from Trader Joe’s today that totally hit the spot after a 5K race I ran this morning. Here’s some inspiration for a sandwich: hummus + carrots + cabbage slaw + tomato. The Bomb.com. It was great in a wrap, but as a sandwich? YUM.

I love stuffing my hummus sandwiches full of veggies. Especially when I give it a Greek twist and add olives and feta cheese. That’s one of my favourite sandwich combos!

Oooh the hummus and cheddar sandwich looks soo good! I’d probably slip in one piece of crispy bacon along with all the veggies though, just to be rebellious 🙂

Hope you enjoy the busy week ahead at the bakery and have a fabulous Thanksgiving!
