Fresh Breath.

Idid it! I got up and did 20 minutes of Sunrise yoga 🙂 I have this DVD and really like it: Yoga Zone: Sunrise & Sunset. It’s very easy (mostly stretching!) and great for beginners who like a quick routine. I love that one is for morning and one for night. I also have this box set and like it a lot too when I’m really in the mood (which you all know is rare 😉 ): Yoga Zone Ultimate Collection. I am really going to try to start and/or end my day with a little yoga stretching in the coming weeks.

And here’s to a fresh breath of oats!!

Having my house back together inspired me to clean, clean, clean this morning!!! I cleaned things that I haven’t ever cleaned before ( 😳 )

Two comments:

1) Mrs. Meyers Geranium All-Purpose Cleaner made cleaning SO ENJOYABLE

2) The extension pieces on my vacuum cleaner are amazing. The little brush thing with suction in the middle? Awesome for cleaning baseboards and “dusting” hard to reach areas.

Since I am going to Cardio Funk tonight, I get to shower and get moving earlier than usual on Sundays since we usually run outside. I think I’m headed to Trader Joe’s and EarthFare next. Then lunch, then Organic all afternoon.

Happy Funday!

I find that there are two camps. One thinks that Meyer’s Geranium cleaner smells heavenly and the other that cannot stand it. I’m in the cannot stand it camp. We have it at work and I can smell it like five offices down the hall. I wonder if they make other scents though. I like the idea of organic cleanser.

    BethT ,
YES – I love grocery shopping. My husband doesn’t get “the hunt” either 🙂

    VeggieGirl ,
    You’re such a role model 🙂

    Amy ,
You’re right – it is very salty. Tastes like Resee’s to me! I like it for a change from other kinds that are sweeter like the Butter Toffee and roasty like Barney.

    Shelby ,
I get really bored too, which is why I say I only have to do 20 minutes. 20 flies by and then you’re done! I’d love to do an hour in the morning, but that’s just unrealistic for me and my attention span, so I figure 20 mins is better than 0.

    Lee ,
LOL. Have you smelled the Basil scent? I like that one too and it’s not as strong.

I don’t know if you saw my post last night, but the spiining song was from your jan 2 post.

Also, your oats look so voluminious, what proportions do you use?

Do you find on the days you eat less oats and something like granola you are really as full since thats less volume? Have a good day!

I would love to be able to exercise first thing in the morning, but if I try and I haven’t eaten anything I start seeing black and white fuzzies and get mega dizzy. I guess I’m just so used to getting a big breakfast before any physical activity. Weird.

I’ve been thinking about getting some good yoga DVDs, so thanks for the tip! I will have to check those out. I’m not used to working out in front of my TV, but I think it’d be a good habit to get into, obviously.

And congrats on your new stove! I’m excited to see new oaty blends that you come up with… NOT in the microwave!

    polly ,
    Yoga (and cranberries) are yummy!

    Lauren ,
I am still having trouble finding the post – can you send me the link?

I do think my volume of oats affects my satiety (a huge bowl of pumpkin oats holds me the longest, I think) but since I usually add back wheatberries or granola, it evens out enough.
