First off, I have had insatiable hunger today!! I think it’s just one of those days of the month because it doesn’t feel like real hunger – just this pang that won’t go away! I’ve consumed many bottles of water (I also feel dehydrated) and clusters of granola, but it wasn’t until dinner that I really felt satisfied.
Afternoon snack of milk, frozen raspberries and granola. Protein, carbs, fat, calories, water – should have done the trick!
Dinner was sponsored by Karen and was absolutely gorgeous on our plates!
We had a beet salad with goat cheese, basil, olive oil and salt
And bison sliders!
With jalapeno inside and avocado on top! Served on a Honey Whole Wheat roll.
We all agreed that these were the best burgers we’d had in ages!
Lastly, grilled eggplant (smothered in olive oil and some glugs of Liquid Smoke) plus fresh garden tomato
I just love meals that have an abundance of vegetables!
Something sweet to end the night – a single bite of Krissy’s Butterbeer cupcake!
I need to shower to wash the bug spray off my legs!
