Flashback 2 Breakfast

Thanks for all of your sweet comments on the news : ) I didn’t get really sad until I started making Billis’s collage and found myself sniffling at the breakfast table, and then I couldn’t write about oatmeal!

But nevertheless, I did eat a delicious the bowl this morning : ) Basic base with cantaloupe, granola and sunflower butter.

I’ve never tried cantaloupe in my oatmeal, I guess I was afraid it would be too watery! Looks good though!

So sorry to hear about the kitty. I lost my 17 year old cat a few years ago and it literally was the hardest I had cried in a long, long time.

Sorry to hear about Lillian, it’s so hard to make that decision even when you know it’s the right one. My old kitty is 18 and just had bloodwork, it all came back really good, though. I know everyday I get with him is a gift. Thoughts and prayers

Sad to hear of the passing of your family cat. I have had two dogs in my lifetime…it is never easy to say goodbye! Especially when one was my shadow!

Oatmeal is a great start to feeling better, and sometimes tears just have that effect too! 🙂 Hope the rest of your day is all smiles

I am really so sorry to hear about your parents’ kitty. I know that is so hard. We become so attached to having them with us and then they are just gone. My thoughts are with all of you!

that’s sad news… my dog is getting old, and we can’t tell if she’s suffering or just out of it. it’ll be sad when we have to make a decision.

on a lighter note, I’ve never thought to put cantaloupe in oatmeal. sounds refreshing.
