Fast Forward

My life is on fast forward this morning! I’ve been doing a million things a minute!!!

For example, I have 4 minutes to type this before I have to leave for Winthrop.

After a nice gym session (when I didn’t realize how late I was making myself), I quickly showered while the husband made us lunch. (He’s good, isn’t he!?)

And a yogurt, pom + walnut cup 🙂

If I’m the Queen of Oats, he’s the King of Bread! He had a bread sandwich plus bread on the side! We’ve got 4 loaves in the house right now so we have to eat that over more expensive things.

OK, I am now officially 15 minutes late for lab and still have a 30 minute commute. Whoops!!!!! And my hair is wet!!

hi Kath, love the header too!

Did I tell you that my hubby worked for THE MILL bread company for a while as a baker? He worked his buns OFF during that time. I wondered if Matt has been upping his food intake, as I’m sure he’s working out by just “working!” My hub lost quite a bit of weight in that time, he was soo skinny and he ate a TON of fresh bread and pb! 😉 Keep on eatin’ that bread, Matt!

You are a very fortunate lady to have a husband that makes you lunch!

Good for him eating all that bread! My husband is NO carbphobic but he feels bread is “too dry” to eat very much of. I love bread but I have such bad TMJ that I can’t eat my favorite chewy varieties anymore!

Hey Kath! Glad you had a great trip, still haven’t had time to catch up on your adventures but I’m looking forward to it.
Sounds like you guys have bread overload! Do you end up throwing alot out or do you freeze any of it?
Also just wanted to say if you do have extra one thing you can do is make bread crumbs with it and store them in the freezer for when you need to use them. My Mom always uses fresh bread crumbs now and its a real time saver if they are all ready to go!

Yikes, the husband must have a roof of his mouth that is like steal. Whenever I eat a lot of bread, it hurts the roof of my mouth. Odd…
Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to eat all that bread and not gain weight though… Sigh…

SO GLAD you guys like the header!!! More on that tonight 😉

    polly ,
I think he does a good bit of nibbling, but he’ll have to see.

    Megan ,
Any gourmet cheese counter should have hard goat cheese. Harris Teeter has it, and this one’s from EF.

    linds ,
I don’t know when they’re ripe – I think they always are in the store? But always try to get one heavy for its size.

    Justy2003 ,
It IS one of my bowls 😉

    Ally ,
This is our first week being overloaded with bread – we have been able to finish all 3 loaves the other weeks (esp. b/c the husband was taking some for breakfast sandwiches too) but we also give a lot of it away here and there.

seelee live (for the love of peanut butter),
Deli ham is just ham! It’s a little higher in fat and sometimes sodium (although I haven’t compared turkey + ham or deli ham vs. carved ham so I’m just guessing), but nothing to be afraid of. I think it’s got much more flavor than turkey on a sandwich.

    Melissa P.,
    GH bread is very soft!
