Drinkable Sprinkles

IMG_5042-2Blog

Whole lotta packing going on!

AND

Whole lotta running!

I ran a different this morning downtown and back and ended up doing 5 miles. I think that’s the most I’ve ran all summer!? It was kind of hard, but a good run overall. I had to stop and walk at the top of 2 big hills!

Back at home overnight oats were waiting for me after a cold shower

IMG_5035-2BlogIMG_5033-2Blog

The Usual Mix

  • 1/3 cup raw oats
  • 1/3 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 banana
  • Pinch salt
  • Pinch cinnamon

–> Fridge overnight

This morning: Cville Cluster, Jam According to Daniel and Smucker’s Natural

IMG_5036-2Blog

Also on the menu: Adagio Tea. I blog reader told me the coconut was amazing and I ended up ordering three of their vanillay flavors, including BIRTHDAY CAKE!

IMG_5030-2Blog

I tried the birthday this morning – it has actual sprinkles in it!

IMG_5031-2Blog

It was a nice smooth black tea, but I wish it had had a slightly sweeter taste (it wasn’t sweet at all). Very good though! Can’t wait to try the coconut!

IMG_5039-2BlogIMG_5037-2Blog

Karen is taking me to the airport in an hour, so I’ve got to gather the 1,000 little things I need for my trip like my cell phone charger and snacks. I hate this part of packing!

Still listening to movie tunes…

Ah good luck and safe travels! Have SO MUCH fun!

Congrats on the run – there’s no better way to kick off a day of travel 🙂

PS – Sometimes it scares me how similar our brain seems to work in terms of food. ALL I wanted this morning was peanut butter and jelly (regular) oats. I didn’t get to have them, but I’ve literally been dreaming about it for days! I feel like a part of me got to have it since you did for breakfast so thank you for helping squash that craving 😉

Packing goes so much more smoothly for me with a list. Otherwise I’m likely to forget something super-important – like a charger or the like.
Good luck, and safe travels to BlogHer. 🙂

    LOVE the jewel-toned butterflies.

Yay for the 5 mile run!! Last week I mapped a 4 mile route I had never run before. About 2 miles in where I had to make a right the street was essentially a complete vertical incline! Haha At least that’s how my brain interpreted it at the time. I was like ‘no way am I running up that hill!!!’ It would have killed the rest of the run.

Have a safe trip and good luck packing!

What is a comparison brand to C-Ville Clusters. They seem like the perfect topping for overnight oats! I can’t seem to find them online. I am new to your blog and I assume it’s only sold where you live. Love your blog by the way! But I would really love to know what I could get to have the same C-Ville Cluster taste.
