Banana Dough Boy Smoothie!

IMG_4852Blog

Overnight ingredients:

  1. 1/3 cup oats
  2. 1/2 cup milk
  3. 3/4 frozen banana
  4. Pinch salt

I put them all in the blender to soak overnight.

In the AM, I blended them up and added crushed graham cracker, Groovy Granola bar and sunken sunbutter.

I’m a little teapot, short and stout!

Mint Cookie tea + milk

For some crazy reason, our high today is 60*. I can’t wait to play outside!

Yes please I’d like batter for breakfast!

I have a question about your “squiggly line” approach– after a big weekend like this past one, do you actively try to make a few days of dips in the line, or do you eat just as normal (or maybe find that your body wants a few lighter days)?

I’ll probably skip alcohol/desserts and any extras this whole week for the squiggly, although sometimes subconscious like you say – I crave healthy food after a vacation

Alright, you’ve convinced me. I’m trying this one out. I made an attempt at a dough-boy smoothie over the summer, but I don’t think I let it soak overnight. I also didn’t have my Vitamix then. I’d have to see if it could survive my 20 min. commute in the morning also, as I like to eat when I get to work, rather than at home.
It’s warmer here, but super rainy!
