Do A Little Dance…

Make a little love. Get down tonight!

IMG_7237-2Blog

[*Please note the ‘make a little love’ part of this post is completely hypothetical!]

Went to the bakery. Did a little work. Had a fabulous Friday night with Matt!

We hung out in our new backyard with a few special beers that Larbs + Matt brought us!

IMG_7240-2Blog

Starting with… the Imperial Younger’s Special Bitter.

IMG_7225-2Blog

Yes, look closely…this beer has my name on it!! I can’t believe I didn’t know about it until now!

IMG_7227-2Blog

IMG_7230-2BlogBeer1-2Blog

This table reminds me of Aslan…so sad the way he died

IMG_7242-2Blog

And speaking of Lions…

We miss El Tigre…but…

IMG_7243-2Blog

We were surprised when El Lion ran by!

IMG_7244-2Blog

For a family who is allergic to cats, we sure attract them to us!

IMG_7247-2Blog

I think we have a new friend!

IMG_7248-2Blog

Beer #2 – a nice bitter Barleywine, also from Larbs + Matt

IMG_7246-2BlogCockeyedBlog

After the sun set, we went inside to make dinner

IMG_7262-2Blog

IMG_7257-2Blog

Pinto Bean burgers [modeled after this recipe – just pintos, flour, olive oil, salt, pepper and Worcestershire] topped with bacon, ketchup and mustard

IMG_7253-2Blog

Pan-seared zucchini on the side

IMG_7256-2Blog

IMG_7260-2Blog

Really fun, chill [and chilly!] night in the new house!

Sounds like a nice Friday afternoon. Maybe El Tigre followed you? 😉 Kidding but glad you guys have a new friend. That zucchini looks yummy-I’ve been bad about consuming my beloved zucchini this summer. Better get some while I can. Have a great weekend!

We just visited the Rogue Brewery here in Portland (we just moved here), and they have the most delicious hazelnut beer. I’ve never tried that kind though; I’ll keep my eye out for it at the store. 🙂

Or longer? I just moved into my first house and have been here a little over a month and it’s still weird sleeping here and doesn’t quite feel like it’s actually my house. Granted this is the first house I’ve lived in (other than growing up…I’ve been living in apartments my whole adult life). No one ever really talks about the adjustment so I always feel like I’m being a wussbag that it’s taking me so long to adjust.

You look really pretty and relaxed. Your hair is a cute length. Question–have you ever had acne issues? Your skin looks so good. I’m sure your healthy eating keeps them at bay. Would acne causing hormones be controlled by healthy eating?
