Digital Food

IMG_4067Blog

I’ve been meaning to put some of my blog photos on canvases for ages. So much beautiful food! Recently Easy Canvas Prints asked if I’d like to do just that in exchange for a post of the finished product.

Behold, the KERF collage!

IMG_4066Blog

I tried to choose just one photo. I really tried!! But I just couldn’t. So I chose a ton! I squeezed in all of my favorites – oats, beer, burgers, kale, sweet potatoes, more beer, berries. I’m SO happy with how it turned out! I love photos as artwork – and squares!

IMG_4065Blog

I also have had nothing hanging above my blogging center for a year now. Now I have something – very appropriate if you ask me!

CanvasBlog

I haven’t gotten much accomplished today – but I guess that’s what days off are for!

Lunch was a blast though –

IMG_4062Blog-3

Leftover slider!!

IMG_4060Blog-3

With bleu d’auvergne and some of the Dr. Pete’s Praline Mustard Glaze. Heavenly combo!

IMG_4055BlogIMG_4054Blog-2

Pile ‘O kale from the garden! We’re nearly out of greens and the garden is overflowing with weeds

IMG_4051Blog

I topped them with coconut oil and coconut. I couldn’t taste it too much, but it was a nice twist. The ketchup was the star, obviously.

Wouldn’t be summer without…

Almost time to dance

The collage is so nice, although it looks so tiny up there — you should get some more!

The little dancing guy is too cute.

Beautiful canvas! But I think maybe lower it so that it is closer to the computer. It seems so high up on that big wall.

Ha- I thought the same thing, and I also do the same thing Kath did (hang stuff where there is already a hook). Unfortunately, though, my ocd tendencies sometimes cause me to keep staring at it until I move it..

lol-good job resisting, mom! My mom tries not to nag as well but I can always tell when she wants to and gets so antsy I just have to call her out on it! 🙂

It does look tiny on your wall. The canvas is great though. I would love to have something like that to hang in my kitchen. In fact, I wouldn’t mind having a print of yours to hang in my kitchen. I’ve been looking at food prints online trying to find something and so far nothing I’ve seen has jumped out at me til now.

Gah – I keep meaning to do the same thing with a bunch of photos I have! I’ve seen so many groupons come through for photo canvases and I never remember to actually get them.

That is absolutely the best thing you could hang over your blogging station (which I LOVE by the way! it’s so cozy!).

Hope you have a good time at dance! Pretty soon we’ll be seeing YOU on SYTYCD 😉

i like the idea ofthat collage and your photography is truly deserving of such displays!! you should invest in a few more in different sizes and add them to that one to make a collective ensemble on that wall … i think it will look super funky. My opinion . . . . do something similar for the bakery too at some point? the baked goods and the collection you have of the GH baked goodies already will look so nice on a large canvas in the store…. and who knows, maybe GH Head office might supply all the stores with your art – now that will be awesome 😉
