Day 2 Tuna

Welcome to Great Harvest! Today we have Cheddar Garlic, Apple Crunch, Nine Grain, Honey Whole Wheat, Dakota, and Farmhouse White!

IMG_0732 (640x427)

I iced up some coffee when I went in and then hit Staples for some office organization tools.

IMG_0730 (640x427)

Is there anything more beautiful than a jarfull of Sharpies!? I <3 pens. The cheap Staples brand ones I bought a few weeks ago were awful. They didn’t work at all! I had to upgrade the store – easier now that we have green coming in!

When I returned, Apple Crunch was hot out of the oven!! Taste tester.

IMG_0731 (640x427)

I just paused for lunch at 1:45. It’s definitely a challenge to find time to eat! I’m sure in time I’ll get more into a schedule, but I’m just so excited to keep doing stuff that it’s hard to sit down and take a break. Good energy though! I had several KERF readers come in today – so nice to meet you guys!! I especially love it when someone says “I’m a KERF reader!” because they know the lingo

Winking smile this !

IMG_0738 (640x427)

Curried tuna salad!

IMG_0736 (640x427)

Along with our Peach White Tea – delicious!

IMG_0735 (640x427)

I’m deciding between a quarter of Savannah Bar and our Butterscotch Scotchie cookies for a snack later on!

Have a great weekend!

Congratulations on the bakery! I started following you about 1 month ago and have been drooling over the breads you’ve been showing. I told my husband we had to find a Great Harvest around us somewhere because I HAD to try this cinnamon chip bread that looked like heaven. We went to the farmer’s market this morning, and lo-and-behold, there was a new stand from the local Great Harvest! Yay for Cinnamon Chip and Red, White and Blueberry bread.

Anyway, the bakery looks beautiful. Good luck to you both!!!

I have to say that I was a little disappointed in the Savannah Bar that I picked up from the Lowcountry GH this week. It was lacking in flavor, despite the fruit in it. My husband even asked if it was from a box. I was most certain that it was made from scratch so maybe their baker had an “off” day? Still <3 the bread!!
