Cranberry Good

IMG_1734Blog

A taste of heaven on this Monday morning

IMG_1730Blog

Whipped banana oatmeal made with chia seeds, cinnamon, and milk topped with cranberry sauce and Flying Squirrel PB, the Cocoa-Nut, which I have determined reminds me of a Resee’s! This bowl was near oatmeal perfection.

IMG_1726Blog

Candy Cane Black Tea – my new favorite.

IMG_1736Blog

It may be unseasonably hot outside this week, but there’s cold in my head. #cantstopsneezing

Have a wonderful week!

If that Cocoa Nut flavor of the Flying Squirrel PB reminds of you a Reese’s, I definitely need to get my hands on some!! I love anything that is or reminds me of a Reese’s. 🙂 Looks like a delicious breakfast!

OMFG. It may be allergies Kath!

I had banana oatmeal today too! Didn’t satisfy my hunger, so I had 1/8 of a muffin from Costco. Have a great day everyone!

I had oatmeal with milk, banana and peanut butter this morning too. I’ve always been an eater that ate things like protein smoothies or low-carb in an effort to eat what I “should”. Now, I’ve grown tired of it, and am trying to eat what I want for once (and that includes big bowls of oatmeal in the morning, yum and grilled cheese sandwiches for snacks. Yum!).

Would love to try that PB! Alas, in Ottawa, Canada we don’t get as much variety with the PB and I can’t buy anything through OpenSky (at least the last time I checked I couldn’t). It amazes me sometimes that groceries I can get when I’m in the U.S. but I can’t get here, or sometimes even how much cheaper it is there!

Hey Kath, Did you (or any readers!) see this news story about the guy who makes “Eat More Kale” t-shirts being bullied by Chik-Fil-A? When I see/think of those t-shirts, I think of you! You were the first person I saw wearing one. I think it’s time I go support Mr. Muller-Moore and get one of my own…

I’m so sad…been eating Paleo/Primal for awhile now after recently losing 25 lbs from my last pregnancy (he’s NINE now LOL) and every time I eat oatmeal, I gain weight. I want so badly to be able to eat it and not have it negatively affect me…not sure what the deal is unless I’m just VERY sensitive to ANY grains (I am definitely gluten sensitive but made sure to get gluten free oats).

I used to get sick after tday at the bakery almost every year — so much pushing and not enough good food and resting. Throw in all the extra curriculars of the holidays and it was my recipe for a cold. Don’t know if this is what happened for you, but is how it worked for me. I’m getting better at taking care of myself during the crazy times. Feel better!
