Cracker Crack

Since you’re without my usual commentary, here’s an entertaining video for you to enjoy with lunch. I think these sisters are singing about Solid Potato Salad – not sure what that is! But just keep watching. The things they do with their bodies are INSANE!

The Lunchbox

I assembled this killer leftover dish before dinner last night.

IMG_0539 (640x427)

Ingredients: ~ 3/4 a cup of millet, ~1/2 a cup of lentils, some grilled eggplant, arugula, cinnamon and sea salt. Simple – let the food speak for itself!

IMG_0535 (640x427)

Side dish….

One of the cool things about OpenSky is finding out about new products. Suppliers send out samples that would be a good fit for our stores in hopes that we’ll love and share them with our readers.

Yesterday, I found a plain brown box on my doorstep. Opened it. And I think some fairy dust trickled out.

May I present: Livin’ Spoonful crackers.

Livin' Spoonful (4)

In four AMAZING flavors!! The nibbling I did last night? That was on these. I can’t proclaim a favorite quite yet, but the Coconut Curry is really pushing for first… They are made of dehydrated sprouted sunflower seeds plus herbs, spices, dried fruit and nuts. All of the best real food into one compact cracker! I put them in my OpenSky store immediately. If you’ve still been holding onto a 10FromKath coupon, it expires at midnight tonight.

Livin' Spoonful (6)

Matt loved them too!

1.5 coconut currys packed into today’s lunch!

Livin' Spoonful

And finally, two happy clementines hangin’ out with a blooming bush. Clems are so easy to add to lunches!

A winning flavor!

Your food always seems so simple yet AH-MAZING! I love your motto of letting the food speak for itself. I think some people think it has to be a ton of ingridients and preparation for it to be good, but that’s not always the case. That photo of Matt is so cute! I researched the term “solid potato salad” & the word “solid” is a wartime term meaning “great” or “good’. 🙂
    Have an awesome Friday, Kath!
