Close The Schools!

IMG_9319

There are huge flakes falling from the sky!!

IMG_9321

The forecast had just said snow showers/rain for the past few days, but Cara announced at dinner last night that they were saying we might get a dumping. Guess we’re getting it! Prediction: 1-10”. In all honesty I hope we’re closer to one inch than ten!

IMG_9322

When I left for the gym around 11:30a it was just sprinkling rain. I drooled on the pages of BH&G for 45 minutes on the elliptical and looked up to see white on the grass! And slush in the parking lot. I ended with some quick lifting, took a detour home to Main Street Market for chicken, turkey & eggs from the Organic Butcher and bread from Albemarle Baking Company.

IMG_9323

On my way home the sleet turned to flakes!

IMG_9318

I have been having HUGE cravings for eggs lately due to the fact that we’ve been out of them for about a month! Before we left for Montana I didn’t want to buy any because we’d be gone for so long. And then I was very excited to get them this week and I FORGOT them on my grocery list!

Craving crunched.

IMG_9307

Scrambled egg sandwich on whole grain bread made with 2 farm-fresh eggs, salt, pepper and JAM. Jam makes everything delicious.

IMG_9300

On the side, a fru-fru spinach salad with cinnamon almonds, pear, and Cherry Balsamic vinegar (from the Boston Olive Oil Co)

IMG_9311

IMG_9299

All served on a new swatch of fabric from Fabric.com – I’ve got a new set design!

IMG_9292

Currently sipping on Candy Cane Lane and trying to figure out how to get around the huge camel cricket in my basement so I can change the laundry…
