Cinnamonland

Hi from Cinnamonland!

IMG_5552 (600x400)

We have had a lot of requests for the white, fluffy cinnamon chip bread and Matt made a huge batch of it today. It’s incredible – but we do intend to keep the whole wheat on the menu too : )

IMG_5550 (600x400)

I had a nice slice when I walked in the door from Body Pump, shaking from head to toe with muscle fatigue!

A while later, lunch!

IMG_5548 (600x400)

I had an end piece sandwich with hummus + veg

IMG_5547 (600x400)

Plus a plum that was more liquid than solid – I didn’t quite get to chew it

IMG_5546 (600x400)IMG_5544 (600x400)

Have a nice afternoon!

There is a Great Harvest about seven miles away from where you will be at HLS and they are open on Saturday and Sunday, but not Monday and Tuesday. If a bunch of you will be going, you might want to call them now to place your orders to be picked up–that way you won’t be disappointed if they are sold out and you will get what you want. Also, it would be only fair to them for scheduling purposes, and so they are not unexpectedly inundated and be unable to service their regular customers. Maybe if enough of you place a big enough order early enough, they might consider even delivering it. Who knows, the owners might even already have plans to be in that part of the city on Saturday evening for dinner or something anyway.

Yummmmm! I purchase my cinnamon from Costco – you know those massive containers that they have, that normal people look at and think “honestly, who would EVER go through all of that in a lifetime?” Yep, I’m one of those crazy folk that actually buys them AND goes back for more. I think cinnachip bread would be a dangerous item to keep in my house! 😛

The header change, muting the color of your “stripe” in the comment reply field when you reply to people, the sidebar areas seem really “cleaned up” and it all just looks great. I know blog renovation and maintenance projects aren’t the most “thrilling” but you nailed it 🙂
