Choc A Lot

Wake up sunshine.

IMG_0410 (427x640)

Today’s a half day – we’re traveling to Baltimore this afternoon. I’ve got a boatload to do between now and then, but I can’t wait to see all of my family, especially my grandmother.

We picked up some Oikos at the grocery store yesterday. Couldn’t wait to dig in! Yogurt is one thing I never eat enough of while traveling.

IMG_0409 (640x427) (2)

My bowl was layered with:

  • ~1 cup yogurt
  • Blueberries
  • Half a peach
  • Half a banana
  • Bella Eats blackberry jam (LOVE how liquidy it is so it spreads nicely!)
  • Crunchy Buckwheat Granola

and………….

IMG_0394 (640x427) (2)

Justin’s Chocolate Hazelnut Butter!! Justin sent me this guy a lonnnng time ago. For some reason I just never wanted to open chocolate for breakfast. But today I wanted something new and wow…very very impressed. This isn’t chocolate. It doesn’t taste like dessert. It tastes like hazelnuts. Remember the hazelnut butter of last year that Veggiegirl sent me? It’s like that – with a cocoa layer on top. Fab.

Work beckons. I have SO MUCH I want to do for my blog!! The next 48 hours will be hard to get though, but when I’m home again, I have the entire month of September to work on my blogging career.

xo to you all

    hi! Im Kath.

I'm a Registered Dietitian, healthy eater, and mom of two from Charlottesville, Virginia. Here you’ll find a healthy mix of real-life meals made from whole ingredients balanced with the pleasures of life, including buttercream frosting and good wine. Plus a sprinkle of nutrition, home life, beauty, parenting, and travel.
