    My breakfast is very similar today! Yogurt, peaches, blueberries, chias… and homemade granola! And cold-brewed iced coffee, o’ course!

    I love the bell pepper dish idea – the quinoa addition is genius, such a nice change up from regular brown rice (which is what I usually use). The recipe looks so much less thick and heavy than a normal stuffed pepper which makes them perfect for summer.

    Beautiful article – I know you prefer photography to words but you really have a way with both 😉

    I need to get some raspberries – I’ve been on such a strawberry kick that I forgot all about them. I DID get some cherries into breakfast this morning though, they were divine.

    I see you have the bowl there with raw oats. I’ve never really seen that before…do they really taste good without the water? Just curious. I’ve been wanting to try as I’ve seen others do that too!

      If you like raw things, yes! They have a bit of a doughy flavor. Haven’t you ever eaten a spoonful of raw oats?

    I am loving cold breakfasts right now, especially with all of the berries in season! It’s definitely iced coffee weather, especially since we have yet to turn on our A/C in Charleston.

    Great article! I agree with the above reply that you could have so done the photography for the article. 🙂

    Well at least I’m off to the AC at work now. I’m teaching baking camps to 5 and 8 year olds at GH in Mt. Pleasant.

    Is there a reason you don’t cook your oats sometimes? I assumed when you said raw oats you just meant plain oats, but I’m guessing you just don’t cook them. ?
