The only buns of steel around here are mine and Faith’s – my burger was consumed with bread 😉
After Faith left, I did a few chores, showered, and set out to make that burger.
I used my recipe for Homemade Bean Burgers
Today’s mix was a base of pinto beans with Worcestershire, whole wheat flour, olive oil, rosemary salt, nutritional yeast, pepper and walnuts. See the recipe above for the how-to!
I added a tablespoon or two of walnuts to the mix – loved that crunchy addition!!
All cooked up with bread for a bun, ketchup, mustard and jalapenos!
Served with a side salad of spinach, veg, apricot stilton, pine nuts, cherry vinegar and olive oil
