Broken Wings

IMG_0249 (600x450)

Right after we end triceps in Body Pump, Vanessa always says “Stretch those broken wings!”

My wings are broken! Class was particularly hard today on the upper body – but I kept it lighter on the lower since I’m running in the Charlottesville Women’s 4 Miler tomorrow morning!

Not too excited about getting up at 5 on a Saturday, but am excited about running in our city’s most famous race!

Recipage (and my friends Emily + Casey!) sent me their new branded shirt – “Original Content” with RECIpage on the back. It’s American Apparel – my torso has never felt a shirt so soft! <3 my Recipage.

IMG_0252 (450x600)

Sandwich alert!! I like to keep Jenn on her toes with interesting sandwich combos ; ) Today’s order sheet read: 2/3 sandwich with cheddar, veggies and hummus as a spread.

How would YOU interpret that!?

IMG_0246 (450x600)

I’m really into cheddar cheese these days!

IMG_0243 (600x450)

On the side – a plumb and an apricot. The ape was on its last leg – wrinkles, mush and all!

IMG_0250 (600x450)

IMG_0247 (600x450)

Matt just went home to nap. I’m holding down the fort until this afternoon, then biking to pick up my race packet and then back downtown to see Faith in a dance performance!!

Enjoy the race! I will be in Cville, but gave up my spot because I am still injured 🙁 Don’t go out to fast, the first part is down hill! Can’t wait to read your recap!

I love 4 mile races! 5Ks seem too short, 10Ks seem too long, and the two 1/2 marathons I’ve done were just ridiculous. 4 or 5 miles = just right. Enjoy!

I take modern dance classes through my college and we are often required to see several performances to write reviews on and many of them are very engaging and inspiring, it’s a beautiful art form.

I’ve been a longtime lurker on the KERF website and I finally wanted to say hi!
I love your triple daily posts, oatmeal posts and motivating me to live healthy. I know that you go to a lot of the bodypump classes and I just wanted to introduce you to this site I’ve been using
    www.bodyrock.tv
It’s pretty popular with subscribers from all over the world doing her exercises which are only 15mins long. but it is SUPER hard…because you set your own determination I guess.
I do find her pics a littleeee bit well…out there (you’ll understand if you see them). But great exercises when you don’t have time!
Oh well, I am starting to rant. Keep up the good work!
