Bread-i-versary

IMG_1569 (393x590)

We’ve been really busy today with folks coming in for bread – and free cookies!! Come one, come all, while they last! Thanks to all of our customers for making our first year the best <3

IMG_1573 (590x393)

We also have tastings of all of our nut butters (!!!)

IMG_1571 (590x393)

Gift basket drawings

IMG_1570 (590x393)

And some awesome guitar music by our friends Miles and Megan!

IMG_1579 (590x393)

I’ve been on my feet all morning and paused around 11 for a hot glazed cinnamon bun snack!

IMG_1572 (393x590)

And then at 1pm had a pimento cheese sandwich on sourdough

IMG_1578 (590x393)

Plus strawberries

IMG_1576 (590x393)

Sweet Drake, the son of one of our awesome bakers, brought me this heartbeat bear for baby KERF! So cute all dressed up : ) Thanks guys!

IMG_1574 (590x393)

And that’s the end of that chapter!

What an exciting day! It sounds like you guys are having tons of fun at the bakery. That was so cute of the little boy to bring in a teddy for Baby KERF! I can’t believe it’s already been a whole year since you and Matt started the whole Great Harvest adventure. Congrats!

My hope is to keep KERF going as usual – it shouldn’t be toooo hard since I have to eat. I think the meals will be more in action and less set up.

BERF will probably become mostly a baby photo blog with posts written when I have time 🙂

    Hi Kath-
Just realized there is a Great Harvest Bread right near me in MA!! Do you have a suggestion for your favorite or “healthiest” bread? It seems they have a very similar menu to your Great Harvest! Can’t wait to go!

    Thanks,

Look for flax oat Bran… That’s our Cville Crunch! Or High Five, Dakota.
