Bite Me

So happy for leftovers last night when things were crazy!

IMG_5532 (640x427)

Throw leftover lentil salad in a container. Add hot sauce.

IMG_5525 (640x427)

Cold salads are my saving grace for packed lunches when I’m really busy. I used to make them on Sundays and have them twice during the week in different forms.

IMG_5527 (640x427)

Combine with a handful of Food Should Taste Good Chips for scooping (my FAVORITE flavor!!)

IMG_5528 (640x427)

And take a bite outta this bruised nectarine and pray it’s still good

IMG_5530 (640x427)

Another Happy Hour lunch underway!!

I used to make a big batch of rice and beans at the beginning of the week and have variations of that as a cold (or room temp) salad throughout the week. I now do mostly leftovers, but the basic rice and bean dish (or some variant) is a good one to remember when you’re running low on other stuff.

Yum yum I love colorful salads. Have you tried those lentils with goat cheese on a salad? It’s really delicious! Also with feta! I still haven’t tried those chips but I see them everywhere and only hear great things.

Great looking salad! I actually just bought some green beans at the farmers market today and was wondering how I should use them. Might just have to whip up a salad! Also, I’m a fairly new reader of your blog and just saw that you and your husband are starting a GH bread store! I am so impressed with that…probably one of my favorite places!! Wish you guys all the best with that!
