Big Bowl, Big Screen

Man I slept hard!! I had tons and tons of crazy dreams and I think I was out from 10:30p to 8:30a. Feeling totally recharged today!

Also was excited to be back in a kitchen making breakfast 🙂 Coffee and oats! Matt was in charge of the coffee, me the oats.

For 2.5 servings (mom had half of one):

  • 2/3 + 1/4 cups oats
  • 1 cup water, 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 big banana
  • Craisins
  • Vanilla
  • Pinch salt

Toppings: Opera Girl’s Granola and Naturally Nutty Vanilla Almond Butter that my mom produced from her pantry!!

Grammy fed the Bears Lucky Charms before I woke up! Tsk tsk.

[If you think her posts are funny, you should hear her just chat about them live! Hilarious.]

Yay for the return of awesome, not mass-produced, oatmeal! I was just wondering, do you guys get Crunchola granola in the States? They’ve just come out with a berry and vanilla one here that I’m finding goes wonderfully with whipped oats 🙂
