Beans, Beans, The Musical Soup

I had quite a fun morning listening to music on iTunes and Twittering for new ideas!

Totally obsessed with "Hide + Seek" by Imogen Heap!!!!!! It makes me want to move around like a bird, as is documented here:

 IMG_9058 (640x427) IMG_9059 (640x427) IMG_9061 (640x427)

As a result, my paper is coming along VERRRRY SLOOOWWWLY. GUF. I’m about halfway through my research [on caffeine + lipid metabolism] and haven’t even started writing. My goal of having this done by tonight is fading….

That super duper bowl of muffin oats kept me stuffed through lunch hour and I got a little hungry at 1:30 and decided to take a break for lunch. I probably could have gone at least another hour before really getting hungry though! Not sure why today the usual combo was so filling. Perhaps because I ran first?

Lunch was a bowl of chocolate!!

IMG_9067 (640x427)

I think I’d like to rename this Hot Chocolate Chili because it’s just like a bowl of hot chocolate with veggies and beans!

IMG_9069 (640x427)

The last of the Food Should Taste Good limes

IMG_9065 (640x427)

IMG_9070 (640x427)

IMG_9063 (640x427)

And to intentionally finish the meal with more chocolate, Intentional Chocolate!

IMG_9071 (640x427)

Ahhhh if only paper writing was as fun as blogging….

Trying to write a paper on the computer is so difficult when there are so many fun blogs out there to distract you, like yours : )

Wow that lunch looks great 🙂

I was enjoying reading your tweets earlier while you were searching for music – I love the Alexandra Burke version of Hallelujah too. I’ll check out Imogen Heap – not sure I know that one

Funny you should mention that song – I’m listening to it right now and I love it too! Itunes is dangerous for me whenever I’m trying to be “productive” because even if I’m “just going to listen to a few songs” I’ll spend an hour on there. Whoops.

I have Eat, Drink, & Be Vegan but still haven’t tried that chili yet. I remember the first time you made and have wanted to ever since! Argh – I’ve got to find some time to make it!

Kath, I have a question that is very unrelated to your entry (I hope that is ok!).

I would be in so much trouble if Blogs were as popular (maybe they were and I didn’t discover them yet) when I was in college. I get distracted so easily when I’m writing papers! I loved the twitter music suggestions! Since you and Mama Pea and many other bloggers love EDBV I am going to give it to some of my Vegan family members for Christmas!

Don’t give up though!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!

Yes! I was a dancer from 1st grade through college. Tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, a wee bit of hip hop at the end, and even a few years of pointe and gymnastics (neither of which I was very good at). I’m a tapper at heart!

Looks delish! And I have not tried the Midas Touch – I’ll keep my eye out at the bars!
