Bakery In A Jar

I’ve been up since 6 and am just now eating breakfast. If that doesn’t tell you how hectic things have been than nothing will!

I was actually going to go to 6AM Body Pump today, but last night I decided rest was more important. I’ll lift some pans today at the bakery Smile

I showered and found a giant bee in my room. I had to pull the old “top with jar then slide cardboard underneath” trick, but he was a big, wild one and my adrenaline got a kick start on the day.

IMG_1017 (640x427)

Had to use a sock in case he stung me through the paper!!

IMG_1018 (640x427)

Then he didn’t want to fly away! Poor little guy was so scared!

IMG_1021 (640x427)

I ate a date [for biking energy] and decided to eat breakfast once I got there – ha – no time for that!

Matt had a giant catering order for me to do when I walked in the door, and then we had lovely customers to serve!

IMG_1022 (640x427)IMG_1024 (640x427)IMG_1025 (640x427)IMG_1029 (640x427)IMG_1028 (640x427)

I was able to snack on a giant Cville Cluster Granola to tide me over

IMG_1030 (640x427)

Until-

Bakery In A Jar!

IMG_1032 (640x427)

A Siggi’s yogurt plus banana and a little Savannah bar and Oat Berry Muffin in an empty SAMPLE jar!! Lots of OIAJ are going to appear with the sampling we’re doing!

IMG_1033 (640x427)

A wee bit of coffee

IMG_1035 (640x427)IMG_1031 (640x427)

Our High Five dough didn’t turn out, so we had to scrap that bread Sad smile Two more snafus – not good!

But….Happy Day!

You’ve been open for a week – congrats!

I love the photos of all the baked goods in your possession. And I’m jealous that you have access to so many delicious foods all the time. I’m enjoying living vacariously through you in this business venture.

By the way, I got to a ticket to Healthy Living Summit, so I’ll see you in August!

Yikes! We used to get wasps in our house when I was a kid and my parents would do the same thing. I would probably scream and leave my house until it was gone, haha!

I have discovered that travel mugs are excellent for bug rescue. Lot of distance between you and the bug, since the mugs are usually pretty tall and a nice fitting lid to temporarily secure the bug in the mug until release outdoors seconds later.
