The pumpkin spice tea is looking so good right now, it is cold here. At least we escaped the 1-3″ of snow that was predicted and ended up with nothing. I just finished up my oatmeal, but your basic bowl looks delicious.

Ha! I totally thought B2B was going to stand for “back to bed”! 😉 I had my whipped banana oats with pumpkin, blueberries, a touch of maple syrup and chia seeds this morning. I love that oatmeal is now a star player in my breakfasts — especially as the weather gets colder and it feels good to start the day with a meal sticking to my ribs! And I commented yesterday at lunch that I wished I was motivated to eat more salads, so last night I had a warm salad and it was great. Gotta get those veggies in any way possible 🙂 So, thanks!

Bananas and oatmeal were made to be together…in fact, as a baby, my youngest son would only eat his oatmeal if there was banana mixed into it! Now, he likes his oatmeal topped with pure maple syrup…another fantastic combo!

Kath, you have made me an oats convert! NEVER before did I consider it breakfast (was an eggs only girl, usually) because I’m not a sweet person. But, I have been doing overnight oats for weeks not, no sweetener except for dates. I actually put a pinch of salt! Today is was old fashioned oats (steel cut). YUM!

It’s always nice sometimes to go back to an old favorite, especially for breakfast. Great way to start the day. I pretty much had the exact same thing this morning. Love me some banana oats especially when a little Sunbutter is added on top. Have you ever tried making your own sunflower seed butter? I’ve made peanut and almond butters, but have yet to tackle the sunflower seed variety. Not sure if my food processor could handle it 🙂
