A Tribute To Pizza + Cookies

This afternoon I also snacked on some Puffins with milk and blackberries…

Snack

And then this evening we went to the bakery for a staff meeting!

IMG_0109-2

Our staff totally rocks, and we are so thankful!

fUNGROUP

Of course we had pizzas on the menu – best dough ever!

IMG_0106-2

Topped with roasted tomatoes, cheese, jalapenos and roasted red peppers

And here is a silent film: A Tribute To Pizza and Cookies

I should have included garden greens in the tribute! We served a huge bowl for a side salad

Plate of delicious:

I only fit once piece of pizza and some salad, but that’s because I spoiled my appetite with cookies before and after dinner!

Leftovers from the breadboard…

IMG_0105

Plus a test batch of a different method of the S’mores (which did not turn out as pretty but were just as delicious!)

IMG_0110

Sallllted Caramel!!

IMG_0121-2

Our meeting went over well. Kanz is so cute wearing his business hat!

IMG_0135-2

And as if the cookies were not enough…Ellen surprised us with a cake!! Raspberry + Pistachio with a Mascarpone Frosting!

It was as fabulous as it sounds

Please roll me into bed!

I think it is so great that your hubby bakes bread! When you have a little one, homemade bread for sandwiches, french toast, buttered on the side of soups, etc., you will know he is getting the good stuff, made with love! Of course, you are a lucky one to get that good stuff, too! 🙂

Do you guys sell that pizza dough in your GH? Or do you sell the already-made pizza? It’s pretty much become my life mission to have a piece of that pizza that I’ve been drooling over on your blog for years! 🙂

Hmmm…love salted caramel and smores. Those cookies speak to me! I’m going to have to try and recreate them.

I finally got around to trying Matt’s roasted potatoes. I had never tried it with the cooling rack and they were vastly improved, very crispy. Thanks!

How many employees do you have? A friend of mine who is a teacher is working at our GH for the summer and she is really enjoying the experience. I dream of opening up my own bakery or maybe just a GH. Our GH seems to be outgrowing its location as they add more shelves and products. It looks like your location is pretty spacious is space an issue for you?

We live in Az and have one GH, in Tempe. Which is awesome, but not a location I get to everyday. I’m a sahm and I live in Southeast Gilbert. Anyway, I visit my parents in Wyoming every Summer with my girls and I always make sure to visit a GH there. There are so many locations there compared to here! If I was planning on staying here in Az I think I’d consider opening one! Anyway, loved my GH stash that I picked up. It made me vow to try to make it to Tempe more often!
