It has been so fun to spend the weekend with people who also like to get up and run! We had a large group meet in the hotel lobby for our Unofficial Fun Run at 7:30 this morning.
I had a few bites of banana before I went down.
We ran a glorious 10K around the river (others did a 5K) – wish I had photos to share!! Running with other people is SO much more fun!!! We did just under 6 miles and they flew by.
I wore my Real Food shirt to sport the brand
I’ve got a KILLER blister on my pinky toe from walking in heels and then my tennis shoes last night, and major thanks goes to the awesome Caitlin for running to CVS to get me mole skin early this morning!!
After showers, we gathered in the lobby once more for a walk to Finagle A Bagel for brunch. Some of the girls had leftover bake sale items that they distributed. I snagged an Almond Butter Ball and ate it on the spot! HUNGRY!
It was about a 10 minute walk to Finagle – my legs were shaky by the end.
We had quite the crowd, but Finagle was awesome at getting us through quickly.
I settled on Sesame Whole Wheat and brought a banana and a Barney Butter packet as a topping. I still remember the bagel I made the same way in Chicago last year for Quaker and knew I’d be repeating the combo.
I also got a hazelnut iced coffee
It was like a school field trip with all the brown bags and fun kids
We said our goodbyes. It was so sad to see everyone go!! Later tonight it’s just going to be me
Our crew of about 15 headed over to Trader Joes. These guys are TJ’s VIRGINS!!! They stocked up as best as they could for flights -
We did LOTS and LOTS of walking!! Probably covered another 3-4 miles up and down Newbury all afternoon.
Despite the fact that we’d had breakfast not two hours prior, JP Licks was high on the list
I was not hungry in the slightest, so I just had a shot of soft serve peanut butter!
Next stop: shopping!!! We were excited to go to H&M.
I didn’t buy this dress
But I bought this one for $34
And it was super fun to finally have a post-it note with me so I could finally participate in Operational Beautiful!
Next stop: a 2PM lunch at Scoozi. Since I didn’t have much ice cream, I was pretty hungry.
I ordered a mixed greens salad with goat cheese, walnuts, tomatoes and shrimp
The brought out some bread
And I had a small piece of bread and some some spicy garlic herb butter spread (and a bite of Meghan’s chicken!)
I’d like to take this moment to thank Nasoya for sponsoring our Boston Experience, including this lunch and our other meals and activities on this trip!
After more walking, we arrived back at the Radisson. Caitlin, Meghann, Kelly, Megan and I played slumber party and blogged and blogged and relaxed.
Someone broke into the TJ’s PB filled pretzels, which I was eager to try after seeing them on Meghann’s blog so many times.
They. were. good.
I’m about to head back out and head over to Larbs and Matt’s for dinner! Matt and I are going grocery shopping for ingredients and Larbs is coming home from a weekend away in time for dinner to be on the table.

H&M is the best! Loved following your blogs this weekend-great recap!
Looks like a great day in Boston. I love this city. Oh, TJ’s virgins?! I bet they were stoked. It’s a little store, but it always does the trick! How did you guys run in this unbearable heat this weekend? Well, I hope you have a safe trip home!
I moved over to Blogger, in case you were interested, and you can check it out here: http://loveindetails (dot) blogspot (dot) com
All that fun and food…it’s contagious….lol!!
Iced coffee looked mighty good!
thanks for a great recap of the Summit this weekend. It’s been neat following along from afar.
An ice cream shot?! Brilliant idea.
Your running get togethers always looks fun. How do you keep the group together as I assume there might be some slower runners.
Have you started a blogger meet up for BlogHer Food yet?

Cute H&M dress! What a great way to finish a fabulous weekend.
Thanks for posting this. I’m new to the world of diet/fitness blogging so this has been great to see.
Thanks again!
So cool to see my bake sale item made it on your blog!! Did you like it!?
Looks like a great final day for the big weekend!
It was so nice to meet you in person. We shall have to do a Charlotte run meet up, if I can keep up!
Hi! I know you mentioned this a bit ago, but I am still getting those weird characters on each of your postings….anyone else having the same issue? Is there something wrong on my end?
I’ve been eating TJ’s UNSALTED peanut butter stuffed pretzels all week — love them! Very, very calorie dense though
Good thing we don’t live closer to TJ’s to refill often lol.

What a fantastic event!
Healthy eating + Healthy living/exercise is great!
Hey Kath! Thanks again for letting us hang out in your room today! For some reason my hyperlink isn’t working. I’d really appreciate it if you could fix it to beneathitallblog.com. Thanks girl!
That dress is adorable on you! Such a great fit and very flattering.
It’s great to see that you opted out of the ice cream because you weren’t hungry. It’s a good reminder for me to see that just because it’s there doesn’t mean you have to eat it. Oh Kath, you are so wise.
LOVE the dress you bought!
Just LOVE reading all of your recaps. A few of us Canadian bloggers gals met this Summer and can’t wait to meet up again in the Fall. You are making us all teary-eyed and nostalgic!
(um, those pretzels are FILLED with PB? I’ve seen Meghann write about them a zillion times and thought they were just PB flavored. We so need TJs in Canada!)
Linda ,
We kind of separated into pace groups and conversation groups. But if someone fell behind we’d go get ‘em.
No plans for meet-up at BHF yet. I’m not sure if we’ll have time since it’s literally 48 hours until we fly back out. Perhaps an early Saturday run?
Allie ,
YES!
Jaime ,
Yep – FILLED!
Kath
Hi Kath, I’ve been reading recaps of the Healthy Living Summit all morning and want to congratulate you on a job well done! By all accounts it looks like it was an amazing weekend that would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of the six of you. Great job!
This looks like so much fun! I’m going to my first bloggers conference this Summer in Orlando. Your blog is a TREASURE TROVE of knowledge and experiences! How fun will this be to look back on when you’re much older and see such well documented experiences!
