Totally heart Foodbuzz today
What an amazing event!! Foodbuzz has really rounded up the most amazing food vendors in the area. All gourmet and totally divine. My mouth has never been so happy!!
I was up early this morning being on East Coast time and all, but we were prepared for that. I read blogs and then met Tina, Shannon, Meghann, Sabrina, Britney, and Emily in the lobby for a morning run along the water! It was a glorious 5.26 (yes, 26!) miles of chitter chatter. We broke at the end of a pier for some mid-run photos
Before we left I munched on a Glo-bar. Wish Angela was here!
Once showered and dressed, we headed over to the Ferry Building for a morning playground. Total foodie and photography heaven!!!!
We waited in a long line for the infamous Blue Bottle Coffee. I got a Cafe au Lait.
Wasn’t sure what to have for breakfast, but I wanted something authentic and local. Tina ended up getting an Arborio Rice + Brandy bread that was out of this world good!!! I had two bites
We walked all around the farmer’s market and I had one bite of a bunch of delicious samples!
This place is simply gorgeous.
And then came to Noe Valley Bakery and decided a pumpkin scone was exactly what I wanted. It was AMAZING!! I shared with the group and probably had half to myself. And I can’t stop thinking about it!!
At 11AM we went to our first event of the day: a cheese tasting by Cowgirl Creamery!!
Sue gave a wonderful talk about how they make their cheeses
Meghann and I split each of the samples, which was the perfect amount.
At noon I changed clothes – and was SO much more comfortable in jeans!! – and we walked a mile to the noontime tasting pavilion. It was the perfect break we needed to rejuvenate!
Once we arrived it was a foodie PARADISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, so, so many delicious things to sample. I literally had one bite of everything photographed. It was incredible. Top 5 days of my life!
Brandy’s Stuffed Pumpkin French Toast
Sabrina’s Frittatas with Nature’s Pride!
Toad Hollow Granola..
and dried fruits
Bertolli Sauce bruschetta!
Here’s me – ON THE MENU!!
Sadly my menu item did not get sampled.
FOODZIE!! I got to sample their goodies earlier this year and absolutely love everything they sell through the site. It’s all made by passionate foodies across the country.
The lavender shortbreads were AMAZING!
So were the other flavors!
Almond butter + salt ganache…
Kerrygold cheeses.
Annie the Baker’s AMAZING DOUGH BALLS!!! Available through Foodzie
The chocolates at this event were simply incredible. Wordless to describe how amazing they were.
There were lots of wines and beers to taste, but sadly I did not have the capacity to get through them all!
I had some chocolate stout in Matt’s honor!
At this point we needed a REST!
Because at 2:30 we had a merlot tasting held by the famous Vinography!!
Featuring these beauties. The final by Palmona was one ROCKIN!
Cheers!

We had a blast in the photo booth before we walked a mile back to the hotel to BLOG and freshen for a big dinner tonight.

That food looks amazing!! I love Rogue and the Ferry Market and SF! SO jealous! I’m catching up on all the FB blogs so totally delayed comments on this one but I couldn’t just skip it!!
Love the photos! I hope you enjoyed the Rogue Chocolate Stout you had for Matt!
Being the face on this bottle of beer (!) its fun to know where I am served and to read about peoples experiences. I love to pair RCS with cheeses or with anything grilled or braised. Its a natural for dessert too. I enjoyed a glass last night paired with raw oysters, and coaxed some at my table to blend the Chocolate Stout with Rogue Somer Ale (which has a a touch of honey, chamomile, orange peel, for a Rogue its lightly hopped and is brewed with wheat, oats and barley)…yummm!
