My paperwhites are blooming!
Studying was a success today. I sat in an armchair for over an hour studying Food Science and then I wanted to take a walk and decided to just take my Clinical notes with me. I was gone for an hour! That’s how long it took to get through them. It was a really nice day though. Talk about NEAT!
I came home hungry at 5:00 and inevitably spoiled my appetite with this fun tasting plate. Half an apple (my other half ate the other half), apricot + fig, roasted garbanzos, ~1 tbsp trail mix with butterscotch, and some Trader Joe’s bunnies I had as a free samples from ages ago.
We started on dinner around 6:30 despite me not being that hungry because he needed to get in bed earlier tonight.
This one was a big green winner! Inspired by this recipe and this recipe, we came up with this recipe: Green Greens + Mac.
I LOVED it. A one-bowl meal, a thick hearty sauce, all wholesome ingredients.
I didn’t need it, but I had a tiny end piece of rye bread on the side. With butta. I always have to have two components to my dinners. A palate cleanser between bites.
Tomorrow’s plans include yoga, oatmeal, major studying, a lunch out, more studying and soup for dinner
I am debating taking my online Psych test tonight. I’ll decide as soon as I push Publish…

Those don’t look like bunnies – they look like parrots!
Your photos are so lovely. You have turned me into a placemat convert. I think I’ll have to whip up a couple myself.
Very lovely blog!!
YUM! I love one bowl meals!
I’m definitely with you on the one-bowl concept, but I’m also with you on the two-component meal concept as well! Infinitely more exciting, even though it was just toast.
Looks like the recipe was a serious success!
Your pasta looks amazing!
I might use that for lunches next week!
Nice dinner!
This looks so mouth watering delicious!
Yummy pasta and beeeautiful flowers! yay!
Aww flowers blooming! Thank goodness. Spring can’t be too far away.
Yay for pasta (minus the cheese though, no me gusta). My boyfriend doesn’t really like pasta(!) so we never have it, which is probably a good thing but I’ve been craving it like mad lately.
yipes, online tests still make me nervous and I’m no longer in school! I was always afraid the computer would freeze and I’d fail or something… Hope it goes smoothly for you!
I love the afternoon snack! Tasting plates are always a favorite.
Now that is MY kind of snack plate. Seriously, can I have it back.
I love one bowl meals! You’re snack looks great, but I am with you on spoiling your dinner appetite. It happens to me, too and it’s so annying because I always want whatever I planned to make for dinner.
The paperwhite is so pretty!!
Green Greens + Mac sounds pretty good, too!
I thought about emailing you at the contest, when I saw your lunch post – but I knew it was too late since you’d be studying the rest of the afternoon – oh well!
I’m loving the 70 degree weather – dreading the 50′s to come – though that won’t be THAT bad either.
Betsy in Pittsburgh,
You’re so right – they are parrots!! I guess I was thinking about Annies
K
Good luck with the test.
I was thinking they looked more like parrots, too
That mac looks awesome!! I may steal some of the idea
Great dinner! I need to try those bunnies!
So, I clicked on the Neat link you posted (to muveit.com) Is their Gruve product supposed to be like the Bodybugg? I have a BodyBugg and I love it. It really helps me keep my exercise goals in focus.
I am the same way with liking multiple parts to meals!
