I’m loving the summer fruit, too. My favorites are nectarines & raspberries, but I’m also enjoying canteloupe, watermelon, strawberries, white peaches & very soon my third favorite – red haven peaches!

I too just cannot get enough summer fruit these days. And,the in-season choices are endless so I’ve been buying more than should be allowable for a two person household. At the moment, peaches/nectarines and the new hybrid (peacherine!) and blueberries are my favorites!

I have been craving fruit bowls lately. I try to eat fruit everyday. But on the weekends, we tend to eat out, and it is not always real food, which makes me crave healthy foods.

This may be a silly question, but how do you cut your nectarines?? I tried cutting mine into slices the other day but I couldn’t get the flesh to pull away from the pit without squishing everything, and I hate the strings you get from biting straight into one!

I cut off the “cheeks” – 4 of them, and then slice and dice. Then eat whatever’s left on the pit!

I was ALL about summer fruit today. I must have eaten something like 8 servings of fruit…peaches, cherries, mangoes, bananas, yum yum yum.
