You’re Never Fully Dressed

without some KERF 🙂 I’m sporting my “I Eat Real Food.” shirt today.

IMG_2198 (1024x768)

IMG_2202 (1024x768)

And used my KERF bowl to match (even though I was alone so no one noticed!)

IMG_2191 (1024x768)

I haven’t slept well recently – blame the hormones and/or the moonlight. I had to put on my eye mask in the middle of the night and my tossing and turning immediately ceased. I swear by eye masks but I don’t always remember to put it on!

My alarm went off at 5, and while I was slow, I was at the gym by 5:55. I did 30 minutes of Stepmill, 15 on the Squirrelliptical and 10 of light lifting.

Today was a cereal day 🙂 This bowl was almost sickening filling. I think 2.5 cups of cereal > 1/3 cup oatmeal on the grain factor

this !
I used a combo of 3 different cereals today (anything to make the bowl more fun to eat!)

IMG_2187 (1024x768)

I also used 1 cup of this vanilla almond milk, which I bought on a whim at Trader Joe’s. I got it because it’s shelf stable and wasn’t that expensive, but I didn’t care for it that much (compared to my super-cheap Costco vanilla soy milk). It’s also really low in protein – only 1 gram per cup.

IMG_2188 (1024x768)

IMG_2195 (1024x768)

The Mix:

1/2 cup each of GoLean, Life, Quaker Oatmeal Squares

~1/3 cup each strawberries + blackberries, heated

1 cup milk, heated

1 tbsp flax

A few walnuts

Drizzle TJ’s PB

IMG_2196 (1024x768)

IMG_2193 (1024x768)

I got this coffee sample in the mail! It was pretty good…

IMG_2186 (1024x768)

With 2% milk –

IMG_2190 (1024x768)

I am SUPER full right now. Maybe I should cut back on my cereal portion…

IMG_2189 (1024x768)

Mmmmm…Chocolate

Win some SweetRiot  dark chocolate covered (50%, 60% or 85% dark cacao) raw cocoa nibs over at Mara’s blog: The Most Amazing…

My internet signal has been going in and out ever since we got the U-verse installed. Someone is coming over to take a look today, but GOSH is it annoying!

I’ve got a long day ahead (but an EarthFare trip for lunch!!!) and my test tonight.

And I’ve got TWO MAJOR ANNOUCEMENTS coming this week!!!! One involves a new blogging project and one involves travel – to a land faraway!!

    Questions/Comments:
    1. Your house is adorable. Will you give us a formal tour sometime? I think we’d all love to see some of the fun details that we scrunch in within millimeters of the computer screen to look at 🙂
    2. Agree that those jeans are rockin’ today! What kind are they?
    3. When you buy soy or almond milk, do you go for the reduced sugar kind or regular? I see that the box on this one says reduced, but I find that the reduced sugar kinds aren’t as delicious (duh).

    Have a good one! 🙂
