When The Sun Goes Down

Sun tanned toes, tickling the sand

IMG_2814Blog

Cold drink chillin in my right left hand

IMG_2817Blog

After our sessions today, Matt and I went running to get rid of our indoor energy. 5 miles under our belts! HOT HOT HOT 5 miles. But FLAT FLAT FLAT was fun!

IMG_2804Blog

We changed into our suits and hit the beach

IMG_2808BlogIMG_2809Blog

IMG_2806Blog

Lots of talking with the Columbia Great Harvest owners, sisters Jane and Chris! We’ll be doing a few days of training with them at their store in March.

IMG_2807Blog

Back up to shower, and then back down to the beach!

IMG_2835Blog

IMG_2813Blog

Pinot Grigio for me

IMG_2811Blog

My dress tonight was compliments of Mahi Gold, who sent it to me in the fall. It’s made with 95% organic cotton and is SO comfy! Fits me perfectly too size-wise, which is hard to come by!

IMG_2816Blog

I’ve really enjoyed talking – and laughing – with all the other owners. It sounds corny to say, but this company really is one big family.

IMG_2844BlogIMG_2820Blog

Dinner tonight was faaaabulous!!! Fish right on the beach!

The buffet was set up with rolls and plantain chips

IMG_2825BlogIMG_2826Blog

Ensalada

IMG_2833Blog

Sweet potato hash!! Lots of cumin. And sauteed veggies. And grilled mahi-mahi!!!!

IMG_2828BlogIMG_2829BlogIMG_2831Blog

Also, made-on-site seafood chowder

IMG_2840BlogIMG_2841Blog

And grilled-on-site steaks

IMG_2823Blog

IMG_2847Blog

My plate featured a little of everything (sans the steak) and this meal was so amazingly delicious!

IMG_2849BlogIMG_2845BlogIMG_2850BlogIMG_2852BlogIMG_2853BlogIMG_2842Blog

For dessert there was key lime pie tartlets

IMG_2837BlogIMG_2836Blog

And bread pudding

IMG_2838Blog

But would you believe that I was so busy talking that by the time I went to get dessert around 9PM these were GONE!! I’ll have to make it up elsewhere : )

As evidenced by the fact that my husband is currently too tipsy to stand up…no idea where he is at the moment…

…everything gets hotter when the sun goes down.

That dress is gorgeous, but those tartlets might be prettier! Do you have any unscheduled Florida exploring time? You could get any number of tasty key lime things if you are out from the hotel. My favorite thing ever is a key lime pie milkshake that I got in FL a few years back.

Well I didn’t get the 5.3 oz yogurts through this time – that was a first for me. But the little nut butter packets are smaller so you just have to put them in a zip lock bag.
