A Spoonful Of Morning

IMG_2874Blog

I’m feeling chipper this morning – and sad it’s our last day! Tomorrow we’ll have to get up at 4:30AM to catch our flight.

Breakfast today was on the terrace again and had the same collection of fruit as yesterday! PLUS Stonyfield yogurt! Yay fo a hotel that supports organic.

IMG_2860Blog IMG_2858BlogIMG_2859Blog

The nut butter collection seems to have GROWN overnight!

IMG_2855Blog

Including a few new flavors I haven’t seen before! Peanut Butter with flax and hemp and Chocolate Vanilla Almond Butter! I still think the Cinnamon Vanilla Sunflower Butter is the very best!

IMG_2862Blog

Chocolate covered strawberries for breakfast!? Yes please!

IMG_2868Blog

IMG_2869Blog

Despite the Stonyfield, I had an extra Chobani I got to have as a snack that had to be eaten. Plus I’d rather have plain anyways.

IMG_2854Blog

I made a fabulous fruit + yogurt plate complete with some of Meg’s Maple Granola from home and a tasting of a few of the Naturally Nuttys. OH – and a blob of that fabulous Huckleberry jam!!

IMG_2865Blog

IMG_2863Blog

Hasta la vista!

I so wish Naturally Nutty had more totally sugarfree options (if I remember correctly the vanilla paste/flavor has sugar or evaporated cane juice in them) – I don’t do well with refined sugars or honey, so even a Naturally Nutty with agave or maple syrup would be awesome.

    Love the spoon pictures.

That is how obsessed I am with that hotel. I have been going there since I was a baby! My parents went there on their honeymoon and my aunt and uncle currently live on the island and work there. It has to be one of my favorite places on Earth. I am so happy/jealous/sad looking at your pictures and wishing I was there.

Anyway, crazy rant over. I hope you are having the most amazing time ever and enjoying ever second of that sunshine. If you get a chance to eat out again, my uncle is also head chef at Verdi’s on Collier Blvd. You can tell him I told you to come visit 🙂

PS-I’ll be on the island next weekend! You should leave a scavenger hunt 😉 haha
