Waving Hello!

We’ve had such wonderful luck with the weather this weekend!! It’s been just warm enough to enjoy 100% without a chill to the air, and we’ve had pretty much cloudless skies the whole time.

2012-03-17 12.58.52

This morning, mom, Larbs and I went on another marsh walk where we ran into black snake #2 of our trip!! So scary. My whole body broke out in goose bumps by some ancient instinct. I just barely was able to walk by her.

2012-03-17 11.10.48

After our walk, which lasted over an hour, we packed up a picnic and headed to the beach!

Hummus, pepper, avocado, pepperjack sandwiches

 2012-03-17 12.41.02 2012-03-17 12.40.47

With a side of grapefruit and a handful of wheat thins on the side!

After some relaxing reading – improved today with my newly purchased BHI visor! – we went on another family walk, over an hour again. Lots of walking this trip!

When we returned, I ate a banana + packet of almond butter I brought from home.

2012-03-17 15.43.38

A hot shower felt oh-so-good, and I’m headed up to join the others for cocktail hour before our last dinner!

Waving goodbye

this !

I really want to try those packets of Justin’s.

Though it is raining here, a walk outside was super refreshing! But I’m terrified of running into a snake since I have nightmares about them.

Looks like such a fun day of walking! So glad the weather is cooperating!
In SoCal we have rain, chilly and cloudy skies. But I like when the weather changes here so it’s okay. 🙂

Justin’s Nut Butter. Always a good idea to keep around. I had some this morning on top of GF toast and homemade strawberry-peach jam. YUM.

Do you know where? (Or, can you say on here?) I have seen and bought the regular portion packets (yum!), but I would love to find the 90 calorie ones. Thanks for your help!

Awwww, I don’t mind black snakes because they’re easy to identify and I know they’re not poisonous but if there’s any kind of design on them at all I am pretty terrified because I don’t know enough to identify the ok ones vs. the bad ones!

Looks like you’ve had a wonderful, relaxing couple of days with the family, snakes and all!
