Waddling.

I’m waddling. And not related to pregnancy. Just because my legs and feet are that sore!

Last Muffin Standing!

IMG_8675-3Blog

I sipped on an Honest Tea this afternoon because I felt like I needed some Gatorade – so thirsty and needed a boost!

IMG_8667-2Blog

Follow by a late-afternoon Oikos. Protein in my back pocket.

IMG_8668-2Blog

We celebrated another awesome day with two confetti eggs Nathan brought in! Cracked on heads.

IMG_8673-2Blog

After work (and 20 minutes with my legs elevated) we changed clothes and headed out for dinner. Not sure if it’s the tiredness or week 19, but I suddenly feel very pregnant (relative to previous weeks, not weeks ahead, mind you 😉 ) I see my stomach in my peripheral vision! Jacket also difficult to button…

IMG_8676-3Blog

We walked to Mono Loco to meet our Davidson friends Jessie and Kevin, who are visiting from DC!

IMG_8684-3Blog

And our other Davidson friend, Brian [Albers!], who lives here in Cville, joined us.

His hand or Matt’s?!

IMG_8686-3Blog

This afternoon I had the thought that I might be able to get a virgin Spice-a-Rita, my favorite mixed drink in town. When I inquired, our server was quick to say YES, they could make one with limeade!!

All the spice without any ‘rita. Guess which is which!? It was SO GOOD I didn’t miss the Tequila one bit!

IMG_8680-4Blog

We started the meal with a shared bowl of chips n salsa

IMG_8681-4Blog

And I couldn’t wait to get one of their famous burrito bowls!

IMG_8687-3Blog

This one was filled with fried oysters and crispy cod plus a poblano pimento cheese!! Plus the standard rice, beans, greens, cheese and spicy white sauce.

IMG_8688-2Blog

Deeeeelicious, but it filled me up so fast! I ate about 3/4 of this and all of a sudden I was sickly full. Fullness is so different these days.

IMG_8690-2Blog

Had to waddle home to digest!

Your bump is adorable!!! Week 19 was definitely a turning point for me as well, in the “I definitely FEEL pregnant” department. Enjoy every bit of it…it is absolutely as amazing and life changing as you think it is going to be. Even more so! I’m at 36 weeks right now. Make sure to take time to pamper yourself in the weeks ahead! 🙂

Two things: A) that pic at the top with the lone muffin, your belly really pops there! You are just going to get rounder and rounder! So cute!

    B) When I was pregnant with my 3rd I craved that sour lime-y icyness of margaritas constantly and was always suggesting mexican so I could get some virgin ones.. yum!!! So refreshing and tart!

Do you mind explaining why you’re waiting on sharing the name? I’ve heard of other people doing the same thing, but I’ve never heard an explanation about the motivation for keeping the name private for a few months…

We’re waiting until he’s born to see if the name suits him. Plus we don’t want any feedback until it’s official

I think reading “poblano pimento cheese” actually made me a bit dizzy! Yum x 1000. I had a chile relleno with dinner tonight but we were at a random rest stop place and it was too fried and icky.

Love your bump. I am waddling too! At 36 weeks I really can’t it – Ha! At my dr appt last week he reported that the baby dropped and is head down (which is good!) but it sure isn’t helping the fashionable waddle walk. 🙂 You look great!
