Tuesday.

IMG_4478-2Blog

It’s Tuesday – you know what that means!!

A day off

 this !

I don’t really feel that I have earned or needed a day off on Tuesday – I’d rather it be Thursday – but with my dance class and a lighter bakery traffic, it makes sense. I’m actually going to be working on a few things from home this morning.

In Tuesday’s honor, I made pancakes!

IMG_4484-2Blog

And by “made” I mean I reheated a few of Sunday’s batch under the broiler for a few minutes until they were warm and crispy!

IMG_4487-2Blog

Topped with Nat Nutty Vanilla Almond Butter, frozen blackberries that I thawed in a pot and Cville Cluster!

IMG_4490-2Blog

Tazo Awake to drink! I think my mom rekindled my love for hot tea (she drinks like 5 cups a day!)

IMG_4493-2Blog

IMG_4494-2Blog

There is only one thing I want to do today: WHOLE FOODS!

Great idea sticking the pancakes under the broiler! I’ve done them in the toasted but under the broiler you could toast toppings on them too! Oven-carmelized bananas?!

I wish I could have reheated my GH Cville pancakes from Sunday but we ate them all!! 🙂 They were seriously so good.

Have fun at Whole Foods and enjoy your day off (I totally know what you mean about wanting it to be later in the week. I usually coast through pretty well Monday – Wednesday but by Thursday I’m more than ready for a day off!)

I absolutely adore day of the week napkins! I have two sets that have been passed down in my family. Both are ‘chore’ sets. One is of animals doing different chores and the other is of a cute little fat lady doing different chores. Does anyone have any good recommendations for tough /old stains? One set looks pretty rough.

If you have a toaster, try reheating leftover pancakes in that. It uses far less electricity than an oven’s broiler. Just a friendly tip!

Also – pancakes freeze really well, making for homemade, nutritious “eggos”. 😉
