The Wheels On The Car Go Round And Round

IMG_4400Blog

Car trip!! Such a longer drive that I remember. Thanks to Matt for driving!

IMG_4399Blog

I got some writing done on my laptop and am about 60% of the way through She’s Come Undone. It’s one of the most well-written stories I’ve ever read. Dolores is soooo complicated, and the plot just keeps changing!

IMG_4402Blog

FOOD.

IMG_4403Blog

Back in our lovely house, I unpacked while Matt made dinner! Another thank you!

IMG_4414Blog

IMG_4417Blog

Before we left on our trip, I pulled some wild Alaskan salmon [from Whole Foods] from the freezer so it would be ready for tonight’s dinner. Matt pan-seared it and oven-finished – it was great! We should have this once a week for both the flavor and nutrition!

IMG_4408Blog

We also had a wonderful pile of roasted sweet potato, parsnip and broccoli (the roots got 40 minutes at 400* and the broc, half that)

IMG_4407Blog

And tasted the German bread – good, but best with butter : )

IMG_4413Blog

IMG_4416Blog

Dessert was the last of the Ginger Elizabeth Lime + Coconut Chocolate Grace sent me earlier this year. I LOVED this flavor!

I prefer to believe that the napkins were sewed from the back of Matt’s shirt … just for this photo! That’s why you have that awful strange grin on his face, his backside is feeling a draft!

        Definition of :
A headphone, earphone or earbud may only be used in one ear, and only if it is part of a hands free telephone function. Using it for a function other than hands free telephone if the device is capable of another function in addition to the telephone is prohibited.

It would appear from this that an in helmet intercom system for motorcycle riders would be allowed if sound is only delivered to one ear.

So Matt, find out what your state says about it… Better be safe than sorry.
