The Eagle Flies At Midnight

IMG_2759 (640x427)

Lots of eagle poses were done today!

After breakfast set out in an E-Z-GO to show Justin + Amanda the island. Sadly it was freezing cold and damp but it was still fun to explore.

IMG_2669 (640x427)

Justin is very much into his new DSLR 😉

IMG_2670 (640x427)

For you dad:

IMG_2673 (640x427)

The ocean!

IMG_2674 (640x427)

IMG_2679 (640x427)

When we returned home we were frozen and warmed up with some power vinyasa with Dave Farmar. 60 minutes of dogs and birds.

IMG_2691 (427x640)

IMG_2692 (427x640)

Attempting Bird Of Paradise

IMG_2685 (640x427)

IMG_2686 (427x640)

After yoga we discovered that the SUN was out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Totally unexpected and exciting

IMG_2774 (640x427)

We were starving (it was 2PM) for lunch and headed over to Eb + Flo’s again

IMG_2695 (640x427)

IMG_2708 (640x427)

The boyz ordered a pitcher of 1554 and 4 glasses were delivered, which meant I was going to have some!

IMG_2697 (640x427)

IMG_2701 (640x427)

I had half a cup –

IMG_2704 (640x427)

So tasty and the perfect accompaniment to seafood!

IMG_2705 (640x427)

To friends….and 2010!

IMG_2707 (640x427)

The best thing on the menu at E+F’s is the okra! Had about 3 of those logs –

IMG_2711 (640x427)

We all shared a large steampot of seafood just like the other night

IMG_2714 (640x427)

My selections. The crab was incredible

IMG_2721 (640x427)

Plus a simple veggiferic side salad

IMG_2719 (640x427)

IMG_2718 (640x427)

When we left lunch we stumbled upon a KERF business card dirty on the porch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think one of the inn friends I gave it to must have dropped it last night (hopefully not discarded in disgust!)

IMG_2722 (640x427)

With the beautiful sunshine we decided to do a photo shoot with Old Baldy as a backdrop

Next thing we knew Matt turned into an eagle on a post!

IMG_2753 (427x640)

IMG_2756 (427x640)

Had to join him – it was hard!

IMG_2757 (640x427)

IMG_2760 (640x427)

We went back to the inn to freshen up and grabbed a few Jelly Bellys for dessert. Toasted marshmallow and champagne punch are by far my favorites!

IMG_2773 (640x427)

We set out on a walk to the Lighthouse Landing boardwalk to check out the lighthouse and marsh views

IMG_2775 (640x427)

I never get tired of photographing Baldy. I just love his shape.

It is now NAPTIME and then party like it’s 1999 2009 time!!
