Tea Time

Tea-4Blog

Good morning!!

IMG_5662-2Blog

I only slept until 7, but it was the lovely lounging on the couch that turned this day into a Sunday. I watched Property Virgins, My First Place and Divine Design – love houses!!!

IMG_5672-2Blog

And pancakes and tea made it all the more fun

IMG_5660-2Blog

I made the Great Harvest Pancake mix with bananas, Krissy’s Pecan Butter (which was SUPER drippy!!), coconut and chia seeds.

IMG_5669-2BlogIMG_5664-2Blog

Irish Breakfast Tea on the side. I’m really enjoying my teas lately now that I’ve stocked up on the black teas I love

IMG_5659-2Blog

Plans today include a lot of nothing and perhaps a little HP7!!

Okay this post just completely sold me on those mugs – I’m already counting down the days until they come to OpenSky! (Just don’t tell my boyfriend because we don’t really have room for anymore dishware, haha).

I’m doing the same thing on this lazy Sunday and I love it (it’s pouring rain here so I feel like I have an excuse to do nothing but laundry, baking and sitting around 🙂 )

    Enjoy!

Pecan butter – something I have yet to try but seems to be very hard to come by at the market.

Yay! I had pancakes too this morning. My dad cooked up our family’s best specialty pancakes–Orange-Yogurt pancakes. We’ve been making them for years, but every time I have them, I fall in love all over again. They taste just like creamy orange sponge cake 🙂

I made pecan butter before, and it turned out drippy but delicious as well!

Have a great day, Kath 🙂

I love Irish breakfast tea. The best was when I went to Ireland with my college and the owners of the hostels we stayed in would make us authentic irish tea. So rich and milky! 🙂

Every time I see you have bananas in your breakfast (everyday!) I think how you would be having serious banana withdrawals if you were in Australia! Since huge storms, floods and a cyclone hit our banana growing regions at the start of the year we have had a banana shortage! Bananas are about $10-14 per kilo. One banana could cost you $2-3. Even though I’m not a huge banana fan I do miss them and even more so when I see your breakfasts each day! 🙂

Question about black tea. You’ve mentioned that caffeinated coffee is addictive to your system and affects your sleep. Does black tea affect you the same way? I had to cut out caffeine in coffee and tea!
