Spoooooatsoooooky

DSC05369

Whooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooo!

Up at 5 this AM for a chilling hour-long cycle class. I didn’t push it too hard and chatted too much with my cycle friend Jim. The music was fun and we ended with Phantom of the Opera!

Of course we had to do themed oats this morning.

My bowl was:

  • 1/3 cup oats, milk, water
  • 1/2 large banana
  • Salt, vanilla
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin (heated in my bowl)
  • Pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/8 cup cottage cheese (stirred in)
  • 1/2 tbsp flax
  • Chocolate eyes
  • Raisin mouth
  • TJ’s fiber worms for brows

DSC05372

He had craisins, worms and almonds –

DSC05368

I added a spoonful of PB on the side – plus coffee!

DSC05373

I’m off to Chemistry (plus an hour of annoying driving) and then I am having my best friend from my youth, Becca, and her daughter Zora for lunch!!

Heather at Hangrypants reminds us to enter her ProBar contest! (But I discourage you from entering so my chances of winning are higher 👿 )

Lastly, it appears that my email address sent out some spam email about Burt’s Bees. Have any of you gotten any random emails from “me” ????

Hope your day is full of tricks and treats!!

Those bowls of oats cracked me up. Reminded me I need to still carve some pumpkins. I must be the only one late this year. We are getting our first autumn storm here today, which means it will be soon time to forage porchinis and chantrelles(sp) 🙂

    Have a Happy Halloween

Hi Kath! I’m new to your blog and really enjoying it. We live in Austin, TX…a great place for living healthy. I have two comments this morning…I also went to a spin class this morning that ended with Phantom of the Opera! So fun! And, I also had trouble on a recent run with my ear phones falling out! So frustrating! What’s up with that!

About how many ounces of coffee would you say you drink each day? I know you only have 1-2 cups with breakfast…but how many total ounces would you say that is? I’m trying to cut back on how much coffee I drink each day so I would love to use your intake as a guideline. Thanks Kath! Happy Halloween!

We all love contests – thanks for sharing!

    Fancy ,
I’d say about 8-10 oz? I’m trying to cut back too though and trying to alternate tea days with coffee days.
