Someday Sunday

IMG_7322-2Blog

Beautiful morning to you!

IMG_7312-2Blog

IMG_7309-2Blog

It’s a perfect fall day to break out the French press. Unfortunately, coffee just isn’t as good as it used to be. All those months of tea. I guess that’s for the best given my caffeine issues. Tea will remain!

CoffeesBlog

Whipped banana oatmeal made with chia seeds, cottage cheese and banana, of course. Cville Cluster on top with a scoop of melting Barney Butter!

IMG_7320-2BlogIMG_7319-2Blog

I’m sleeping well again. Mood is back up to perky status. El Leon says hi!

IMG_7323-2Blog

Time for a whole lotta home improvement!

I have not been much into coffee lately, either! It is really weird, because it used to be the first thing I reached for in the morning, but I’m now on a Chai tea kick, and it is quite the new addiction! 🙂

I love reading about your coffee phases! It actually kind of intrigues me how the taste can come and go so drastically. I’m a tried and true coffee drinker and think I always will be, but I definitely remember a period when the thought of it made me sick for a few months. Then I jumped back on and haven’t looked back haha. Have a fun day of cleaning and decorating!

I love coffee in the morning. I don’t think it’s such a bad habit and they actually say it provides antioxidants (I think?). Oh well, it’s the least of “vices” to worry about when you don’t overdue, just like anything else. I can’t see giving it up either:)

I think it’s a great habit if you don’t have some of the achy side effects that I have. It IS very good for you. I just can’t handle so much caffeine.

Sorry, I must have missed all of the side effects that you get from coffee/caffeine Kath. That is good that you were able to figure out what was causing the achy side effects. I should have been clearer in my response because I don’t drink any caffeine after the morning coffee, since I couldn’t handle more than that either. Thanks for the reply:)

I woke up in the best perky mood as well – I think it’s the coming of Fall. Agreed that it was the perfect day to break out the coffee – it was the first thing I did upon waking. I wish I could be a tea girl, but I’m a coffee one through and through 🙂

Do the chia seeds add to the flavor of the oatmeal? I’ve been having oatmeal for about a month, but have yet to make the journey to chia.

I like both coffee and tea… but really depends on my mood and how cold it is! I love tea when I am cold, or a nice spicy tea in the fall! My favourite right now, Good Earth Sweet & Spicy. Like a cinnamon heart in a cup! hrmm… I’m off to the kitchen to make a cup!
