Snowed In With Blue Apron

This post is sponsored by Blue Apron

Bread? Check. Milk? Check. Snow shovel? Check. Sled? Check.

Blue Apron meal? Check!!

Foodblog (21 of 21)

When a big snow storm is in the forecast, what better way to get snowed in than with a Blue Apron delivery on your doorstep. There’s no need to wait in the long grocery store lines when all the ingredients you need are in one box. During our recent blizzard, Matt and I got to work making this delicious pasta. It was warming, filling and a fun activity to do together after Mazen was tucked into bed.

Our recipe: Ricotta & Spinach Pasta with Orange, Hazelnut & Mint Salad

Foodblog (16 of 21)

Loved this twist on a salad side dish with oranges, mint, and hazelnuts!

Foodblog (15 of 21)

The pasta dish was so good, and I loved that it incorporated some veggies as well.

Putting both of those recipes on next weeks meal plan; they look delicious! I’m in love with your sweatshirt. Do you mind sharing where it’s from?

Enjoy the storm! We’re hunkering down in WI right now. Schools have already been closed but the blizzard isn’t supposed to start until noon and then continue into the night. The news guy mentioned something about “thunder snow” which I think sounds like fun, so maybe that is thunder in the middle of a snow storm??

Wow, that meal looks delicious! Actually, pretty much all of the Blue Apron meals do – I think I need to check them out for busy weeks. The pasta looks so fun to eat!!
This may be a weird question, but did you guys have a houseguest snowed in with you who took these pictures? I thought it was cute that you treated it like a dinner date with Matt 🙂 You look great in the pictures – love that sweater – Stitchfix?

Oh this looks so nice and cozy! Great idea for a date night in. It’s funny to see both you and Matt cooking together! Did you have a photographer come by for the shoot, or were you able to use a tripod/timer?

It’s really nice to see that Blue Apron is working on their sustainability and packaging. Kudos to them!

The pasta looks delicious, and having fresh ingredients delivered to your door is even better. Mostly though, I’d like to know how you manage to keep your kitchen so clean.
