Share The Pear

IMG_0603 (640x427)

Our fridge is seriously empty! But we did have the makings for some yogurt + cereal. And a single pear to share.

IMG_0600 (640x427)

I opened this cereal, which I loved. The texture is just great and I love the clusters!

IMG_0593 (640x427)

The mix:

  • 1 container Oikos
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin
  • Cinnamon
  • 1/2 pear
  • ~1/2 cup Zoe’s
  • Maples syrup drizzle
  • Tiny spoon of PB for fun

I’m headed to the grocery store to replenish the stores.

Then to the gym.

I love TJS Honey Almond Crunch cereal. I can’t get out that way often, though, so luckily Wal-Mart has a generic alternative. 🙂

Re the Gather post “Greatest Love” really good post, Kath. So necessary to remind everyone of the really important things in life, especially this time of year.
After the holidays, when the post holiday blues set in, “The Greatest Love” might be post that we should all re-read.

    Your breakfast looks great!

I am trying the slow cooker Cuban braised beef with peppers recipe tonight. I am going to substitute brown rice for the white and skip the avocado. Did you find that the dish was flavorful enough as written or did you add additional spices?

We may have added a few spices, but I can’t remember. Matt did it. I thought it was pretty good as is. We also used brown rice.

I found out last night that I always unwittingly share my apple with Hunni when he slices it for me. He always takes a piece for himself. No wonder there is always less apple when he does it than when I do 🙂

There always seems to be something in the kitchen to make a good breakfast, doesn’t there? 😉

I am in love with Zoe’s Granola, but sadly, they no longer make it. The company went out of business. It’s still available in a few select Big Lots stores and on Amazon but not for long. If you like it, I would suggest stocking up if you can. Pretty soon, it will be a thing of the past! 🙁 So sad when a good food product vanishes.

    Have a great day Kath!
