Pumpkin Lumpkin

All I wanted on the agenda this morning was a kick-back bowl of breakfast enjoyed with some House Hunters. Mission accomplished!

IMG_8946

Strangely despite the near-freezing temps (and still no heat turned on in here) I decided yogurt and cereal sounded really good.

IMG_8949

I do not recommend preparing breakfast next to an open box of Oatmeal Squares. I think I had half my breakfast before sitting down! [Thanks to Allie for the exciting birthday gift!]

Crunch crunch

The Mix

  • ~2/3 cup Quaker Oatmeal Squares on the bottom of my bowl Meals and Miles style! I loved putting the cereal on the bottom and yogurt on top – it was much easier and more fun to eat!
  • ~2/3 cup plain yogurt
  • ~1/3 cup pumpkin
  • Pumpkin butter
  • Chia seeds
  • Half a banana
  • Coconut butter drizzle (the peanut kind by Tropical Traditions I received to sample)

The bold and the beautiful:

The bears were quite energetic after I gave them their honeycomb yogurts:

Today we have a picnic planned and dinner with my uncle and cousins coming to town!

I’ll have to try the cereal on the bottom! I always put mine on the top and the dang cereal is always trying to escape from my bowl.

Love House Hunters on the weekend! We had a fire going in the fireplace last night. It ups the temps quite a bit until we turn the heat on.

I want some honeycomb yogurt and to play with the bears! 😉

It’s FREEZING here in Maryland, so I can only imagine what it’s like in VA as well. Yikes! Bring on the hot bowl of pumpkin oats 😀

I love oatmeal squares. I always forget how much I love it. It’s definitely my favourite non-sugary cereal!

We haven’t turned our heat on either. I’m using my laptop on my lap as a heater! 🙂

I always layer cereal on the bottom of the bowl – love the crunch at the end! Quaker Oatmeal Squares are one of my favorites as well.

No heat here as well – that’s what sweats and blankets are for.

    Enjoy your picnic!
