Over The Rainbow

Bears, we’re not in Florida anymore.

IMG_3063Blog

It might look like it’s 80 degrees – and it does smell like spring. But it’s still close to freezing here!

I picked up a taste of the tropics at Whole Foods last night – local parrot tulips

IMG_3057BlogIMG_3056Blog

I missed oats! Particularly cottage cheese oats.

OatrioBlog

Made with a few strawberries as well to remind me of Florida

IMG_3067Blog

The Mix

  • 1/3 cup oats, milk, water
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • Half banana
  • Pinch salt
  • 3 strawberries, stirred in at end
  • 1/3 cup cottage cheese, stirred in at end
  • Hemp Plus Granola
  • Sunflower butter
  • GH Jam

I forgot how good my coffee is!

I have yet to work up the courage to try cottage cheese… maybe I can get a sample at TJs! Something about it scares me. Odd, I know… it looks delicious though! 🙂

The morning after a trip is always great. You wake up in your own bed and make exactly what you want for breakfast and relax with your coffee! As always, I love your polka dot bowl. I made strawberry oats today too, but I just sliced them on top. Yours look better stirred in! I’ll try that next time.
