Off To Asheville

H A PP Y 4 T H !!

Look who was mewing at our back patio door all morning. He is just dying to come inside and play! So cute 🙂

We were up at 6:30 this morning to hit the gym before our vacation starts. I did 30 mins on the Stairmaster , 12 on the Stat bike and pull-ups and push-ups with the husband.

For breakfast I reheated the last portion of nectarine oats and added a VERY ripe banana , the last of our blackberries, and some almonds + almond butter .

We’re packing up now and are leaving for Asheville shortly. Karen is joining us, and we are staying in a two-room B&B cottage for the night. Since the trip is short, I am not taking my laptop and plan to blog tomorrow afternoon/evening when we return. Talk to you guys then!

Is that a stray cat? If so, you should probably take him to your local humane society and set him up with some food and water in the meantime. He must get pretty hot in the sun! Happy 4th!

I am so excited for you and your Asheville trip! We will be there in 2 weeks, and I could not be more excited! I wish I had noticed that you were going before you left – I’d insist that you eat at Salsa and hopefully Early Girl!

I can’t wait to see food pics from Asheville!

Enjoy your time off. Please let me know if you have any ideas of how else I can eat the almond butter beyond the oatmeal? Do you have any other recipes for it?

Oh, what a cute cat! If he’s or she’s still there when you come back I would suggest taking her to your local Humane Society. He or she looks like she needs food and water. 🙂

    Enjoy your time off!

    yadi ,
Anytime where you’d use peanut butter – sandwiches, bananas, sauces, spread on crackers, etc.
