Mr. Meow

IMG_9298Blog

El Leon is the meowingest cat ever! You know he has made an entrance when you hear: “meowmeowmeowmeowmeowmeow.” It’s constant and oh-so-charming of him! He must have a lot to say.

IMG_9294Blog

I have few words for today’s breakfast, which left me speechless. Just simple pumpkin cottage cheese banana oats (ok, that really isn’t all that simple

 this !
) plus Carrot Raisin Walnut muffin and sunbutter! As in, the REAL Sunbutter – crunchy style! Opensky and I are talking and they sent me a jar. Jury says it’s as good as Trader Joe’s!

Red Velvet.

Have a fantastic weekend!!

Every time I see sunflower butter, I almost buy it but then I get all flustered wondering if I’ll really like it! TJ’s Crunchy PB won this time.

I personally don’t get the love! I read it on sososo many blogs that when I was able to get a free sample of some things I included Sunflower Butter, but months later it is still on my shelf. It’s salty and savory… I would maybe like it mixed in with dressings? But it’s not a peanut butter replacement at all!

completely agree! I bought it thinking I’d love it like everyone else and I just don’t! It’s got a funky taste to me.

Me too! I bought sunflower butter after seeing it on several blogs and I don’t like it either. Part of the problem is that my mind is expecting something slightly sweeter/creamier and sunbutter is so salty and puddle-y. I don’t like the naturally nutty cinnamon vanilla flavor either! I definitely prefer creamy peanut butter.

I LOVE it (not as much as Smucker’s Natural Peanut Butter, though), but the nut butter I don’t like is Almond… I love almonds, but can’t stand AB!

What does red velvet tea taste like? Isn’t red velvet cake just vanilla/chocolate with cream cheese frosting? I wonder what makes the tea red, if it’s beetroot or food coloring?
