Mommies & Me

Lazy Sunday for you?

Pumpkin-2Blog

Matt and I said goodbye to Larbs + Matt while I headed to my monthly mothers group. I’m really enjoying the meet-ups and getting to see all the sweet little babies!

This one was all girls – and then two boys showed up!

Little princesses!

BabiesBlog

I ordered my favorite Tofu & Bean salad for lunch

IMG_8349-2Blog

Played with my friend Elinor for a bit

IMG_8353-2Blog

And then walked back home – so thankful the blue sky came out!

IMG_8356-2Blog

Matt is gardening and I’m about to start some home projects involving paint!

LOL…we started calling my son Peanut when we first found out I was pregnant. He is now 2 and he answers to it. 🙂

Cute pictures, loved the ones of your kitty.

We have two kitties of our own, Roosevelt (all white short hair) and Talulah (grey and white tabby).

Where do you both find all this energy to get so much done in one day?

Happy April Fool’s Day and have a great Sunday.

Is painting safe while you are pregnant?? I don’t think I would want to be exposed to fumes.

Matt’s raised beds look really sturdy! We built some a few years ago that fell apart–didn’t add the braces–but they were great while they lasted!

Wow, I totally haven’t visited KERF in awhile. Full time job, new promotion as a manager, a six-year old, and being pregnant (at, uh, 41) = not a lot of energy. And hey, you’re pregnant! Congrats! It looks like I’m about 8 weeks ahead of you. Hang on, it’s a wild ride!

Great that you’re getting in some practice with the mum’s group – are you going to join your own antenatal group at some stage? It’s awesome to hang out with women at similar stages in their pregnancies; your babies are born around the same time and then you have the instant mother’s group afterward.

But why are you attending a mommy and me group? I’d think you’d want to join a group of women who are also pregnant? I’d feel awfully out of place.

My friend invited me. There are two of us moms-to-be and one of us isn’t even pregnant yet. It’s very casual and just for fun. They are a wealth of information. I’m looking for a pregnancy group too.
