Mixed Up Clouds

IMG_5299Blog

You’ve got to be kidding me!!!

IMG_5311Blog

Yesterday Matt was mowing the lawn in short sleeves – you can still see the grass lines!! Just a few weeks ago I was running in shorts and a t-shirt. Everything is in bloom. Crazy mixed up clouds!

IMG_5312Blog

It seems with the wintry mix my winter appetite has returned. The ole hibernation-induced decadent, voluminous bowl of oats:

IMG_5303Blog-2

The Wintry Mix

  • 1/4 cup oat bran
  • 2 tbsp oats
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin, stirred in at end (second-to-last can!!)
  • Pinch salt
  • Toppings: Lynda’s granola, coconut, Flying Squirrel PB Bright Eyed + Bushy Tail, butterscotch

IMG_5308Blog

Coffee coffee gimme!!

IMG_5300Blog-2

Half a mug

Oh no!!! I really hope we are done with the snow now — we’ve had a few sprinklings here and there but enough is enough!

I do love how that bowl looks against the snow though — how beautiful!
