Long Distance Relationship

It only takes the thought of a bowl to remind me how much I love oatmeal! We’re in a long distance relationship for the time being, but I try to see him when I can. I guess it’s good I’m dating other breakfasts during this time – for variety’s sake – but no one is as perfect at this guy:

The Mix:

  • 1/3 cup oats, 2% milk, water
  • Half a huuuuuge banana
  • 1 tbsp chia
  • ~2-3 tbsp raisins that fell from the bag in a heap
  • vanilla + salt
  • Mix My Granola
  • Butterscotch chips
  • Maranatha AB

    Kath-

I went onto mixmygranola.com (which seems awesome and amazing) but was totally overwhelmed!!!

Do you have any suggestions for simplifying this process? For example, do you have a base that you prefer? Do you add any of the *enhancements*, like bee pollen? I am most afraid that I will attempt to order something healthy and end up with a fatty or unhealthy mix!! ( I am the same girl who fell into the *I can eat whatever I want as long as its low-fat * trap!!

I am an overweight 30 year old who has a new devotion to clean and healthy eating but am trying to get in my groove!
